This book is too simple. Each topic is dealt with superficially. If you are a novice with little knowledge of music theory then this book is perhaps the best for you, because no errors were found. Otherwise, if this fails for details and depth. . . Rating: 2 / 5
I am 35 years just to women, piano and music theory. . I can not tell you how wonderfully easy and useful this little book was. . . I bought this game and the Complete Idiots Guide to Music Theory. . . I use this result in a more or as frequently as idiots. . This does not have additional information that you do not need or want and what is a useful reference, and I love how small it is carried around. I read it when I wait in line or sitting in a doctors office or DMV or any other horrible place and wait. Well together and easy to read. Definitely would buy again and would recommend it anyway. I had to give piano lessons for 8 years as a young man, but the theory is not so much to me. Now I’m retired, I can go back in the game – and a better student, “I say.
